About the book...

Forty-nine year old Dr. Elizabeth Beck, psychiatrist and author of many best selling books, including Rapist Rules, is blackmailed by a former acquaintance, Belinda Gould to be the maid of honor at her wedding in Snow Cap Ridge, Colorado. On the night before the wedding, Elizabeth finds herself the victim of an attempted rape.  During her self defense maneuvers, she accidentally cut off the attacker's penis. When the would be rapist is found stabbed to death, Elizabeth is charged with his murder.


Elizabeth approaches her predicament by invoking the problem solving skills she has written about in her latest book, Sound Solutions, skills based on an adaptation of the 1928 writings of Dr. Marc Edmund Jones, who created twenty-six ways of solving problems, using the laws of applied psychology and analogical commentary based on Lewis Carroll’s classic, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.
